Challenging Environment for Primary Care
In the past few years, general practice has faced very difficult financial circumstances due to the Department of Health withdrawing or reducing some of our funding streams and also due to inflationary pressures.
This factors have contributed to difficulty in our staff recruitment and retention.
Unfortunately this has led to a current shortage of staff and as a result we are having to take steps to ensure the continued function of all our systems
We now switch our telephones to accepting urgent calls only between 12-2pm (instead of 1-2) and 5-6pm , to allow admin staff to carry out essential admin tasks
We will continue to offer urgent calls wed pm 1-6pm as usual.
Our doctors will continue to offer the same number of appointments, but this change is needed due to the shortage in our admin team. This is necessary to ensure important administrative processes including prescription processing. We apologise for any inconvenience and are grateful for your continued support.
We would like to highlight our online booking system- for requesting a consultation or support- see below for more details.
YOU CAN NOW CONTACT US ONLINE VIA PATIENT SERVICES TO REQUEST A TELEPHONE OR FACE TO FACE CONSULTATION.
